This consultant always double checks CT scans if he thinks the original is incorrect as proved by a doctor saying I had a clot when it was in fact a small progression of tumour. I was diagnosed with tumours in my brain and he immediately got me radiotherapy at Nottingham city hospital. He is very approachable and answers our questions also liaises with my thyroid consultant and my lung nurse. He is due to leave this month and have no idea who is replacing him which is a course of concern. Please in this day is and age we need consultants of his calibre get him to stay.
