Dr Miles Levy undoubtedly has the knowledge and the qualifications required but I have found him distinctly lacking in empathy and dismissive. He cancels long awaited appointments and then I had to wait weeks before I could get my ( very expensive ) test results. It was a telephone consultation. I had to remind him of my symptoms and he did not even know that I had already had the scan that he sent me for. The consultation was rushed and I did not feel satisfied with the outcome and I still dont know what is wrong with me. His secretary is also not helpful. Not was I was expecting from going private.

I had a very bad experience with dr miles levy . I went to him for endocrinology diagnosis. He had no interest and didn't do any tests and I was left with life altering excessive endo deformed Including my weight 3 times it's normal, and a moon face, buffalo hump, chronic fatigue that left me bed bound which gave on with sudden extreme weight gain. This followed from extreme weight loss to less than 6 stone and extreme thirst. Even when abnormalities showed, he didn't want to Know or test me further. I have been left I'll to point can't work and as a fat person that is Cushing's related. Also had 3 X growth hormone level and nothing done by him. He was one of the first endos I saw. I complained, and then transferred to his alledged 'superior' who acted the same. Unfortunately as a lot of endo patients find, you have to Keep transferring as getting no where with diagnosis. And the 'new endo' just covers for the last endo as they Are all known to each other in the medical field, and the patient is left getting no help or diagnosis. I was shocked by his lack of knowledge and lack of interest. He had no clue about what it was like living with these actual symptoms daily for years. I have no life as a result of him from no treatment. I feel like if I was an animal with this endo problem I would be euthanised. Instead I'm forced to live like this with no help. All he did was talk about his singing and band. I've now been decades with this illness and he didn't want to know.
