Aloof. Uncaring. Rude. Just 3 of many words that spring to mind when I reflect on my online consultation with Dr Craig. Communication beforehand was sketchy and he was late for our call, late enough to call his secretary who knew he was with a patient but didn't feel obliged to let me know. I took the consultation with Dr Craig as a gateway to rTMS treatment but rTMS was barely discussed and was if anything downplayed as a source of help for my problems. It felt more like a patient poaching exercise when he talked of obtaining my notes from my usual psychiatrist and scheduling follow-up appointments - definitely not what I had in mind. As with other testimonials, I went through a Q&A exercise, the like of which I'm well versed. These things are never easy, and Dr Craig's impassive countenance certainly didn't help. While he undoubtedly listened, I got the feeling if I'd told him I lived on the moon for a year I'd see the same expressionless face looking back at me. Or maybe he'd interrupt me and call my lunar mission superfluous? And cut me off abruptly - as he did on various occasions. There are good reviews on here, and maybe if you're prepared to endure his obtuse style, he can help. However, it's noticeable how many recent reviews have a similar theme and maybe his heart isn't in it anymore. I won't be hanging around to find out.
