I would honestly recommend just anyone with the slightest doubt about diabetes to go and meet the doctor at least once. She is one of a kind, firstly because she never just prescribes medicines or insulin shots right without understanding the issue/problem. Secondly, she goes with indepth medical analysis as well as listens to the patient in question, understand his/her pleas, environment within which the patient is as well any associated condition before discussing a treatment strategy. Last but not least, she is reachable anytime through email and provides assistance/guidance/support as much as she can there on the e-platform (very innovative and efficient use of technology) which is rare to be seen with doctors in Mauritius unfortunately.
