Having been successfully treated by Dr Pitcher some years ago for a gastroenterological condition I asked to be referred to him again when I was feeling very poorly just before Christmas. I had seen several other consultants and was receiving treatment for various conditions from them but I was not feeling any better. Dr Pitcher examined me on my first visit to him and diagnosed a fairly rare condition which was not gastroenterological. He prescribed an immediate course of medication and within 48 hours I could not believe how much better I was feeling. He kept in touch with me by email over Christmas to ensure I was feeling OK, which I certainly was, and a couple of days after Christmas a biopsy confirmed his diagnosis. My treatment is continuing and I am feeling so much better. I am very grateful to Dr Pitcher for the care and attention he has shown to me and of course for his prompt and correct diagnosis. He is a very nice man who communicates well and clearly explains everything. He always gave me the impression that he had time for me and never seemed to rush things. He went out of his way to ensure all was well e.g. the Christmas emails. Although I was never in bed when I saw him I can imagine that he has a charming "bedside manner"! I am so pleased to have been treated twice now by Dr Pitcher and cannot recommend him highly enough.
