Dr Pitcher is a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor. He has an excellent manner and put me at my ease immediately. He is thorough and confident which is so reassuring when you are worried and unwell.
Dr Pitcher was very efficient and contacted me directly with my result. He discussed all the management options and provided me with appropriate information. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs his specialist advice.

It was indeed a challenge accessing private hospitals open to private patients for diagnostics during the tail of the coronavirus pandemic but, together, we prevailed! I appreciate your feedback that you felt cared for in a remote sense, even though we were separated by 44 miles and connected by nothing more than telephone line. Dr Pitcher has successfully completed my treatment in a professional and caring manner. The treatment during this Covid-19 period has been complicated and challenging - Dr Pitcher managed various consultations virtually (both through video and telephone), as well as creating space for an urgent procedure. Dr Pitcher was approachable and providing the right counsel in timely way throughout the treatment. I would recommended Dr Pitcher for his specialist services.

Consultant Dr.Maxton Pitcher is an extremely professional consultant with a very caring nature . I was not sure what consultant to see and I then found the youtube online of Dr.Pitcher giving a talk to consultants. This was very impressive indeed and so I then made my appointment. I felt at complete ease during my consultation and examination and found Dr.Pitcher to have a great deal of knowledge care and understanding . I shall not hesitate to recommend Dr.Pitcher to friends , family and anyone who is in need of great care. If you have been reading reviews and not sure who to see then I do hope that this helps you to decide. It is so important to feel confident with your consultant and Dr.Pitcher is most certainly the one to see. I always used to go private and often travel into London and I am ever so grateful that I have now found a consultant of this high level at The Clementine Churchill Hospital.

Doctor Pitcher is incredibly easy to talk to, he has immense knowledge of treating Achalasia and takes the time to ensure you are feeling supported.
Following consultations Doctor Pitcher carried out a dilatation procedure last week and for the first time in 4 years I have been able to eat sitting down. The last 4 years have been hard, the pain when eating has been difficult to cope with but thanks to his skill and expertise I'm beginning to lead a normal life.
I can't thank this man and his colleagues enough for the work they do.
