It's hard to add anything new to all the previous reviews about Matt. He listens, he cares, he explains, he answers emails quickly - one reply to me was made in the early hours - and he is just a thoroughly lovely man as well as superb doctor.
My cardioversion didn't work so we went on to a catheter ablation. Two days later I had fluid on the lungs and had to go back to JR A&E. Luckily for me Matt was on duty at the JR so I felt totally confident that everything would be Ok and it was. Now feeling healthier than for ages. As I had had three small stokes in the last few years he was especially careful in monitoring my medications and discussing with me all the pros and cons of treatments.
Watching him with colleagues and hearing their opinions of him really emphasises the respect and high regard they obviously have for him.
I can't thank this man enough for the difference he has made to my life and for the reassurance of knowing that he will be there should I need him in the future. Thank you Matt.
