Recently I had an operation at Maryport hospital, whilst fully awake under local anaesthesia. I should have had no qualms prior the operation.
Incredibly two men cut a hole in my abdomen and worked away for a long time repairing the hernia and then stitched my wound, whilst I was fully awake, without the slightest pain or discomfort (including post operation).
The whole procedure from start to finish was absolutely totally painless!
It is a tribute to the expertise and professionalism of Dr White, Mr Dresner and their team that they have developed such an absolutely totally painless operation and my very grateful thanks to all the team for their outstanding care.
