Dr Martin Pritchard-Howarth wrote a discharge note for my mother on 23/11/22 concluding she had "no underlying cancer" despite terminal cancer being diagnosed in Aug 21. I have sent him a letter written by my mother querying this revallation in which she expresses the needless pain her family and friends have been through following what I assume was an 'incorrect diagnosis'. I hope Dr Martin Pritchard-Howarth can reply to my mother's letter quickly and comprehensively, and answer the queries she has raised. I dearly hope Dr Martin Pritchard-Howarth is a hero giving my mother her life back, but at the moment the new diagnosis has created more questions than answers. Firstly for me I would like to query how a Consultant Orthogeriatrician can over-ride a diagnosis of cancer, presumably wiritten by an Oncologist of some seniority. Should it not also be an Oncologist who can determine the original diagnosis as incorrect? There are many other questions her family and friends would like answered and resolved. Please excuse me putting the basis of many questions very simply and bluntly: If you wish us to dismiss the diagnosis that we took so seriously for 15 months, why should we trust yours? I will complete the below form on my mother's behalf including "Do you have any of the following long-standing conditions?" Answer as 'Cancer'

Dr Martin Pritchard-howarth is a thorough gentleman, he listens what a patient is saying to him and conveys great empathy. Some consultants are full of themselves and very snooty. Not so Pritchard Howarth,! avery nice person.
