Absolute waste of time. Felt I wasn't listened to. Of course there were no students present during my eight minute consultation so that probably explains the assumptions that were made. Luckily for me I was discharged. However the written report of our meeting added insult to injury by being full of incorrect details. I shall be taking this further.

At Leicester Royal Infirmary Dr Fotherby showed me the results of the scan showing the subdural bleed on the side of my brain. He explained clearly what he thought had caused the damage and what future action should be taken. He listened to my wife and I and answered our concerns and included the student who was in attendance. What I particularly liked was his friendly manner and his explanation for his reason for asking me to change my medication.
