Dr Mark Tyrrell qualified in July 2000 completing his GP training in 2005 whilst serving as a doctor in the British Army. He served both at home and abroad and loved his time serving his country and fellow military personnel. He left the army in 2007 and joined Crondall New Surgery as a partner in 2008. He was senior partner at this beautiful Hampshire village practice from 2010-2021. Mark also worked as Strategic Medical Director for North Hampshire Urgent Care from 2010-2021 helping the service provide out of hours GP care from Frimley Park Hospital during evenings and weekends. In 2021 he moved with his wife and 2 children to Norway where he now runs Vitae Evidence a small healthtech startup company. He also sits on the board of Coremine Vitae. Both of these young companies are focused on improving outcomes for patients by utilising the power of Precision Medicine (treatments guided by individual genetics). He continues to practice clinically at Kongsberg Legevakt and with EYR an online Norwegian consultation platform. He loves the diversity of General Practice and feels it is a privilege to help patients in their time of need.
