When I first met Dr Slaney I’d been very unwell for several years, suffering from obsessions and anxiety (which I later learned, from Dr Slaney, was OCD). Quite frankly I spent a miserable few years at university, and had been struggling to adapt to the world of work after graduating.
Dr Slaney diagnosed me with OCD, rather than anxiety disorder which I was diagnosed with by a previous doctor, and put me on a course of medication that was extremely helpful. I still struggle somewhat with OCD, but the past few years have been a dramatic improvement, allowing me to live a broadly normal life.
Would recommend Dr Slaney unreservedly. Also enjoyed our conversations and his sense of humor (think of them as the cherry on the cake).
