There aren't enough superlatives to describe Dr Slaney. He's set the bar for professionalism, care, kindness, respect, understanding and so much more.
He'e helped me at my lowest points and has brought me out of many dark holes.
I'll be full of mixed emotions when the day comes where he'll hang his gloves up. Happy that he will enjoy retirement, and for all the lives he has positively impacted; but sad I will no longer be able to have him as my psychiatrist.
So, to Dr Mark Slaney, thank you for being the best of the best. Enjoy retirement; no one deserves it more!
