I feel so lucky to have met Dr Slade. Cheltenham General is extremely fortunate to have him. After 20 months of debilitating symptoms and seeing numerous doctors without success I had an appointment with Mark Slade . How was it that he got to the root of the problem in 24hrs? It was I feel that he asked the right questions and acted on it. He made time to listen, show me results and scans all with a very approachable manner and I was sure that this would be someone whom I could trust. These are amazing qualities to have when there are so many cuts and pressures on the system.
Other doctors might like to take note. I am sure the majority of patients do not exaggerate symptoms for attention. Most people are too busy with their lives to wait around in hospitals. A person may look well,remember you didn't know them before. We may be smiling but crying with frustration on the inside.
