Dr Ramsey was appointed as consultant cardiologist in Swansea in 1997 and is one of eight interventional cardiologists based at Morriston Hospital who participate in the acute on-call rota providing primary angioplasty for heart attacks for the population of mid and south west Wales. His specialist interests include interventional cardiology and CT coronary angiography and he is currently the Clinical Director for Regional Services in ABM University Health Board.

Dr Ramsey is plain speaking,listens to one's questions and has a pleasant attitude. After my first experience of heart problems Dr Ramsey gave me confidence in my treatment.

What wonderful bedside manner, Dr Mark Ramsey had plenty of time to listen to me and reassured me. His manner was very gentlemanly. His diagnosis was arp and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I could not recommend him highly enough!
