I first met Dr Harrison in Sept 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic and 8 weeks after having Whipple surgery in Hammersmith hospital
I was distraught at the thought of needing chemotherapy but after our 1st consultation felt completely reassured
Dr Harrison was very straightforward and took time to fully explain the process and drawbacks of the treatment.
He was brutally honest and didn't attempt to soften the impact, yet I felt 100% confident I was in good hands
After 3 sessions of folfirinox chemo I was ready to quit but a phone consultation was quickly arranged and Mark adjusted the dose.
Fast forward a year, and I now only see Dr Harrison every 3-4 months. There is no sign of any spread or recurrence and I feel constantly reassured by his ongoing care!
If you want a straight talking, confident, knowledgeable consultant then Dr Harrison is definitely your man!
