10th October 2016

After three and a half years of treatment and investigations, including numerous visits to A & E and admittance's to hospital, I attended an appointment with Dr Brady on 07 Oct 2016 with no great anticipation or hope. This was due to having previously seen a great number of Morecambe Bay Trust Doctors many of which, not all, had shown a lack of interest or motivation in resolving my medical issues. From the onset the manor of both Dr Brady and his staff nurse, Ricci Taylor, put me at ease both showing a great deal of genuine interest in my welfare. Dr Brady then spent a great deal of time explaining the circumstances surrounding my condition, always checking my level of understanding throughout the consultation, whilst never promising a definitive diagnosis. I left the appointment feeling a great deal more optimistic than I have done for a long time. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from Dr Brady and Nurse Taylor and onto the nurse, Heather Sharpe, who carried out the necessary blood tests. This appointment went a long way in restoring my faith in both the NHS and the care offered by Morecambe Bay Trust.
