Dr Mark Brady

I have had recent kidney problems and had not seen my usual nephrologist for 3 years partly down to covid. I have been seeing my GPs for approx 5 weeks and got nowhere. It's only when I carted myself off to Preston Royal that I finally got somewhere. I was immediately admitted onto the Medical Assessment Unit where I met Dr Brady the next morning. What a nice, down to earth guy. He put me at ease straight away and came up with a care plan...Treatment started immediately and was transferred to the renal ward and within the space of 2 to 3 days I was feeling so much better. I was monitored for a further 4 days by which time I was ready for home. I can't thank Dr Brady and his team enough..... I felt that they all cared and did their best for me. Who could ask for anything more!. Thank you Dr Brady and your team. You are all brilliant!!!

Dr Brady is simply an outstanding doctor. He is patient, never rushing, he listens very carefully and takes an holistic view of his patient. On several occasions he has helped me with other medical issues without fuss or delay. He explains everything carefully, and is interested in his patient as an individual - he cares about every decision he makes. He can be trusted to do the right thing in every way. He is without doubt the best doctor I have had, a hard worker and a genuinely nice person.

Dr Mark Brady is one of the most caring and helpful doctor's I have ever come across, he has time for everyone and does not try to rush you along , he is very good at explaining all about why certain pills are needed and always send's me results of every appointment I have had with him over these past 3/4 year's. in my opinion he is simply the best. And it is a pleasure to see him for my CKD. I do not think he could improve on anything he is simply the best.

I have seen Dr Brady for a number of years and I also have had experience of consultants from different disciplines. Dr Brady involves the patient in the treatment and is prepared to listen to your concerns unlike many other consultants who either talk down to the patient or have no interest to what you say.I have even had a consultant who was yawning while I was talking. He is incisive and identifies the cause of problem you are experiencing readily. I consider Dr Brady as one of the best consultants I have had the experience of attending.
