In 2013 my husband was started on a course of chemotherapy at Whiston hospital by Dr Gharib this was done on ward 2A with all the wonderful staff. Over the last 2 years and some frightening times for myself and my husband I can truly say that Dr Gharib has been very supportive. He has such a calm and reassuring manner that puts you at ease straight away. He will make time for you even with his busy schedule making you feel you are a person not a number. I regard Dr Gharib as our friend, this wonderful man with the best ever bedside manner. Thank you Dr Gharib I'm sure you've saved my husband a few times, you and your fantastic haematology team.
