I have had a mess made of my medical records. Simple things like what was being taken, what has been taken by me. Overstating the impact of the epilepsy. All by her. Medication prescribed and amounts. All incorrect I have had to seek recourse to get the records corrected and I'm still waiting. They are simple things, that when first realised, and later mentioned to her she brushed aside as having no relevance. They have however impacted on the treatment being given. Both by herself and others. Due to her, I resorted for the first time in my adult life to seeking advice over what she was wanting to do. And I'm glad to say that we have moved on from those times when such treatment was "administered", whether the patent consented to it or not. My brain my be far from perfect, but its got me this far in life without resorting to surgery. She will be only the third specialist/person that will have had access to my medical records denied to her. I do not feel safe seeing her. For anyone seeing her, make certain you make a note of what you say to her and her response to it. Treat patients as people, not lab rats.
