i had the proceedure to both legs in october 2014,my rt leg was worse than my left,as veins were getting quite 'bumpy',. at the end of a day my right leg looked like it was on inside out!!!,plus i had loads of unsightly thread veins doing a dance all over my thighs. i havn't worn a dress without opaque tights since i was 40,aprox 20 years and then i used camophlage cream.poor me...i had had a surgery and various proceedures to right leg on the nhs,with limited success. SO far ,and we are in January the results have been great,she did some further redial treatment on my rt leg [at no extra cost].i did have a few days off work,because proceedure isn't without pain,and you can't really shower properly for 4dys,as you need to keep stockings on 24/7. During my discussions with Dr Lynn Jones,about previous proceedures i had had,it transpired that she has been involved in research into effects and outcomes of vein proceedures,so she is probably one of the most informed and experience 'varicose vein' practioners in country,i felt i had struck lucky with her as my physician.My daughter is getting married in August,for the first time in years i will be wearing[weather permitting] a DRESS without stockings!!! can't wait.
