Dr Stacey is so caring and thorough. Sometimes you come away from seeing other health professionals and question why they are in their role as they do not even look at the patient. Whilst seeing my 14 year old child she moved her chair away from the PC to concentrate on looking and talking with him, she validated what he was sharing with her , She wanted to ensure he was fully aware of the facts re medication although he had told her he had looked online she double checked his understanding and concerns. She was so supportive of him and gave him the time to "pour out" and ask for help after admitting he was struggling. She is very honest and told him although she would refer him to the specialist service concerned they may not offer him any support as they have very strict criteria and it is very hard to get an appointment with them. She gave him general advise on keeping himself healthy and encouraged him to move forward with his issues. We have seen her a further two times as my child feels comfortable with her and trusts her integrity.
