Following a car accident 10 days previously, my Mother who suffers with fibromyalgia & arthritis in her spine was experiencing intense pain and had not slept in 24hrs. However as a result of an administrative error, we waited 6hrs in A&E - to the point of collapse. Dr Kishan immediately recognised the level of distress that my Mother was in & addressed the situation with intravenous pain killers, before undertaking further physical and aural examination. His manner was professional, attentive and sympathetic - despite the chaos & pressure of a busy A&E. He conducted his work diligently and without distraction whilst we were in his charge and I had confidence in his judgement and opinion. Once treatment had been administered, Dr Kishan provided a quiet refuge for a period of observation & returned to his work in A&E. Once he was satisfied with our treatment, he provided us with a note to present to Mother's G.P. referencing what he had done & how to proceed further (which proved very useful). Dr Kishan sacrificed his shift break to attend to my Mother's needs during a very busy time - for which I am extremely grateful. Such levels of "customer service" are very rare and should be commended. In the unfortunate event that you find yourself in A&E, you will experience a team that makes the NHS world class - Dr Kishan is in that team - going above & beyond the call of duty. I could not have asked for better care and attention from an astute and knowledgeable professional. Many thanks.
