I had an adult ADHD assessment with Dr Ellis today and couldn't be happier with the outcome. She made me feel at completely ease, whilst displaying professionalism throughout our appointment. Dr Ellis listened to every word I said and used her experience and intuition to guide our conversation naturally. Having felt invalidated by GPs, the assessment with Dr Ellis felt like a breath of fresh air, and I realised how invaluable it is to be truly understood. The diagnosis that she made has already changed my life for the better, and she looked at my wellbeing hollistically, taking into account traumas and life experiences. I received the service as an NHS payment but this experience really illustrated that you can't be a price on your health, and if I can afford it, I would love to have further help from Dr Ellis in the future.
