I have been in the care of Dr. Kiran Das since being diagnosed with a small cancerous lump in the left breast. Surgery was promptly arranged and the outcome very positive with a short course of radio therapy and follow ups with Dr Das, Breast Unit nurse & annual mammagrams.
Initially Dr Das spent some considerable time explaining the process and answering my questions about future outcomes and I have been referred on to the genetic counselling department for further information.
From an unexpected and quite alarming diagnosis in March 2019 I am pleased to report that at each stage of the treatment programme I received excellent attention the only slight concern at the outset was a delay from when my GP made an urgent within 2 weeks appointment with the hospital which in fact was nearer to 4 weeks due to high demand.
