I had previously been happy with Dr Teasdale's advice since I moved to Caterham. However I was disappointed in her last communication with me. I have recently had a medical circumcision and as such have to refrain from any form of sexual activity for 30 days. No sex, no masturbation, nothing. I asked Dr Teasdale if there was anything I could take to ease the tension and irritability that I am bound to feel, as any male probably would, through not having any release for that long. She talked about the physical reasons for not indulging in sexual behaviour, avoiding injury etc of which I am perfectly aware and did not ask about. She said just use pain management which again is not what I'm talking about. I am aware that in the trenches during the Works Wars men were given bromide tablets to 'keep down the urges', and I just wondered if there was a modern version of this available. I have infinite respect for the female doctors at the practice, Dr Perera examined me for the initial issue and was brilliant about it all. But I wonder if on this occasion it will take the opinion of a male doctor, who can empathise as well as sympathise with what I am talking about, to provide a solution
