I saw Dr McGilligan after growing frustrated from being on the NHS waiting list for a vasectomy for several months and with no indication as to when an appointment would be made available. In a way I'm somewhat glad because it meant I discovered Dr McGilligan and his scalpel less technique, which based on his consultation, seems like a far better method than the standard method I would have received if I continued to wait for the NHS. I found his knowledge and experience reassuring and made me feel I was in good hands, with what I'm sure for most men, is a quite daunting procedure. After nearly a week of recovering from the operation I'm pleased to feedback that his reassurance on how the recovery process would go was spot on and I'm physically in a far better way than what I'd have imagined given the nature of procedure, although I won't be attempting any jumping jacks for at least a few more weeks.
