I was referred to Dr. Joe McGilligan because I had a small growth on my cheek that was causing me some concern. At my consultation Dr. Joe suspected it was a Basal Cell Carcinoma and suggested it should be removed. The operation was carried out there and then and without any pain or discomfort.
Although Dr. Joe advised he would have to make an incision wide enough to make sure all of the area was clear the resulting "scar" is extremely fine and started to heal beautifully within the first 24 hours. I am confident that within a very short while there will be little evidence of this operation having been carried out.
Dr. Joe called and emailed me with the histology result and confirmed his original diagnosis also advising no further attention was required.
Dr. Joe is friendly, approachable and thoroughly professional. I have great confidence in him and should the occasion arise at any time in the future would not hesitate to contact him again. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
