This was the second time that I had had a problem with sun damaged skin on my hand as a result of 40 years of flying. It did not show any of the classic symptoms, exactly the same as the previous time. However, the doctor listened to my concerns and removed the growth and sent it away for testing. The result was positive, highlighting the fact that my concerns were justified and my diagnosis of the root problem were correct. I am heartened by the fact that the doctor was prepared to listen to me where others haven't in the past.
