Some patients know more about there illness than drs .. it maybe in a text book . But living with the illness is different .but to tell a patient ."if a patient with cancer can get to the surgery so can you. Get in a taxi and come down . Is not the best attitude to take ..to sit by and watch my partner suffer like they do with a cruel illness barely able to move some days .cos of balancce or pain . BUT you should NOT even compare it against another . Each illness has its boundries each person copes and deals with it different .a little more understanding wouldnt go amiss . Please .

I am 25 so not had a great deal of life experience that allows me to judge a great doctor but from my first visit with doctor cairs I felt at ease and felt he actually cared. His communication skills are excellent and puts you instantly at ease with his relaxed yet extreamly professional manner. I feel that he has been my best GP to date, and would recommend him to anyone as a genuine caring GP whom you can trust to care and look after your health needs and questions. Great job Dr Cairns. Thanks
