Having encountered Dr Monjardino on a few occasions over the many years we have been registered at Northbourne, I went out of my way to avoid taking an appointment with her as often as possible. Her rude and dismissive manner always left me feeling that I had wasted my time and that I wasn't taken seriously over my concerns, especially around my children.
Now that she has taken over as the practice manager it is clear her manner has set the tone of the surgery and with the new GPs.
Sadly the best GPs have now left and I will be de-registering from this surgery. Such a shame as it was once a supportive environment but no longer feels like a service that has the values that it once held.
