Dr Camilleri was great when we saw him at Spire hospital. He was able to confirm diagnosis and provide notes to be able to take to NHS to resolve issuds with my medication prescription. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and listened well. The notes following the appointment were recieved the same day - excellent service and woild recommend. Thank you!

After explaining my symptoms to Dr Camilleri I found him to be most caring and understanding. Following a thorough examination he explained his reasons for his diagnosis in an easy, comprehendible way and the treatment he recommended was delivered in a manner that put my mind at rest, which I greatly appreciated.
I left the consultation in a very positive frame of mind.

I would 100% recommend Dr Camilleri. I was a patient of his at the age of 11 whilst he was working for the NHS and have always had positive experiences under his care. I recently chose to see him privately over any other rheumatologist as I consider him to be the best in this field and the treatment and care I receive is always first class. Dr Camilleri is very thorough and meticulous. I have seen many other doctors in the rheumatology field and no one compares to Dr Camilleri.

I was very happy with my consultation with Dr Camilleri yesterday.
He listened to everything, spent time asking me things then examining me, and explained his findings in detail.
He is a very calm and polite man.
I was seen on time, was happy with the time spent on the consultation, and then received a copy of his letter to the GP just 24 hours later
Profile
I started training in rheumatology as a part of my general medical training at The Royal London Hospital and Newham General Hospital between 1987 and 1989. I was then appointed as Senior Registrar in rheumatology in Cardiff from 1989 to 1995. During this time I obtained a clinical fellowship for two years research into experimental treatments for inflammatory arthritis.
I was appointed Consultant Rheumatologist in 1995 and worked in the East Glamorgan and Llwynpia Hospitals before relocating to Cardiff and Vale Healthboard where I worked as a consultant for 22 years. I was the lead for paediatric rheumatology and saw paediatric patients from the whole of South Wales.
My training background includes diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, sports related injuries and soft tissue rheumatism. My main special interest is in connective tissue diseases and paediatric rheumatology.
