Dr Jeremy Black cared for my elderly father in the last few months of his life. He explained everything he was considering and gave my Dad the opportunity to be part of the decision-making which he desperately needed. He was respectful, caring and patient and provided my father with reassurance at a confusing time. He included other family members to ensure we fully understood what was happening and I cannot praise highly enough his medical approach or his patient care. He made a difficult time far more calm and far less stressful than it might have been - both for my father and for the family. If 'old school' means listening, explaining, caring and taking time; then Dr Black has every right to claim to be that.
