What a great doctor. He explained my treatment thoroughly and was compassionate. He listened and I felt heard. I felt safe in his care and he explained ways to manage my eating in a way that had never been explained to me before. A true doctor and healer!!! Wonderdul human being and I am pleased that our paths crossed at CHOC as I feel he has set me on the road to recovery with a map.

I have just met this doctor tonight at cue doc. He is one of the nicest doctor you could meet. Shame there's not a few more like him around. He listened and gave advise.

As a nurse in a local nursing home I have met Dr 'Steel' Stahlschmit on many occasions. Hand on heart he is the doctor I hope walks though the door when I have an end of life situation. He is so compassionate with the patient and their family. He explains the process of dying well and spends time ensuring the the individual has a good death.

I seen this Dr last night at cue doc with my granddaughter and the time and care he gave her was amazing, we were in there for nearly an hour and he directed everything towards her and he then explained everything again to me I went away feeling hopeful that things will be resolved with my granddaughter. She has seen many drs with the problems she has and non of them have been as thorough as he was, wish he was in my surgery as he would definitely be an asset.

I saw Dr stahlschmidt in the qdoc department of the carlisle infirmary. I have seen many doctors over the years and, to be honest, I had lost all confidence in them. Until I met Dr stahlschmidt, he is funny, he relaxed me, he had time to listen, he is in my opinion the most knowledgable Dr I have met, he is very down to earth and above all, he believed me when no other doctor did.
