Jaya Gowrisunkur treated my wife. I accompanied my wife at every consultation.
My wife had several mental health conditions and I feel we had been let down by the NHS. Prior to our first appointment with Jaya I worried 24/7 that 'today' would be the last day I would hear my wife breathe. It was a terrifying situation to be in.
I would say that my wife didn't initially take to Jaya. However that was probably down to her state of mind at the time. I have sat and listened throughout all her appointments and seen my wife develop a very trusting relationship with Jaya. My wife discussed openly with Jaya issues that no one else other than myself knew about at the time. Something that I never thought she would do.
My wife is now at the latter stages of her treatment and Jaya has supported throughout the process 100%. She has been amazing and I would highly recommend her. Although Jaya is not the most punctual, she is worth the wait as everything else about her is spot on. This includes her support staff who are excellent.
