This small note is not about the Doctor but his Phlebotomist Ms Barthia. (hope I got her name correct) As a nervous person with needles I dread going for blood tests. However Ms Barthia' calm and reassuaring manner puts me at ease. Her competance in locating a vein at the first go is a contrast to my other experiences where my arm was treated like a pin cushion

He is very calm and composed and listens to me very carefully. He listens to all our complaints and gives us good advice on what steps to take in order to sort of my problems. Furthermore, he prescribes me the right medicine depending on what I require. He has a very caring nature and makes sure he does his best to help.

Jayantha Wijeratne is a highly qualified and vastly experienced Doctor. He keeps abreast of latest medical advances and publications thereby enabling him to make innovative, astute and up to date clinical judgements. He is meticulous in his method and manner. He keeps my ever lasting chronic medical condition in abeyance. More than anything he gives me "hope" I find his surgery reception area dour and over crowded. There is a free exchange of bugs and infections due to poor ventilation. NHS to blame??????
