I have no problems with the doctors or staff at the Kelvedon Health Centre, I have a problem with the appointment system which is poor. I visit the doctor about once every year or more and every time I try and book an appointment it is extremely difficult. After visiting my doctor, he asked me to make a follow up appointment in two weeks time, but I couldn't, I was asked to phone at 08.00 on the day of the appointment. The phone was engaged continuously for over half an hour and I then had to leave for work. When I phoned at 10.00 I was told I couldn't make an appointment until I phoned again at 14.00. Why can't you make an appointment when you phone? This is a ludicrous and outdated system. I have to plan my day/week ahead while I'm working and this system makes it impossible.
