I was admitted to Royal Shropshire Hospital last month for a gastric bypass to be performed by Mr Rink Consultant upper GI surgeon.
It would be fair to say that once I had been put on the list for this procedure I felt very nervously apprehensive.
From that point onwards I was supported in education meeting to prepare me not only for surgery but also to prepare me for dietary change.
The support I have recieved from Mr Rink and his team has been amazing.
They have been accessible throughout and made sure I was aware of all information needed to have the best journey through this with the best outcome
Mr Rink has been approachable, understanding, patient throughout.
His manner has armed me with the confidence to give me confidence in his skills.
I would like to thank Mr Rink and his team. With their support my life has turned around and with each passing week I feel the benefits more and more.
