Dr Peters has been looking after me for well over a year now, I had been really struggling with the treatment and medication for my polymyalgia rheumatica. Dr Peters thought it would be a good idea to get me onto Sarilumab injections. Because of the cost of this medication he had to make a special request for me to be allowed to have them. Within weeks of taking this new biologic drug my condition improved dramatically and I felt really cared for because of the fact that he went to the trouble of getting approval for me, I will be forever grateful for the care and expertise he has brought to me and my autoimmune disorder. I feel humbled and deeply grateful by all that the Hammersmith Hospital does for me. Dr Peters in the team are amazing.
