I am 59 years old and in December 2019 l have been diagnosed with Idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease. I spent the first two years thinking this must be a mistake, but gradually with the support of both my family and neurologist Dr J Mairvo l began to accept my condition. My trust and confidence is so much more better because of the passion & care that my neurologist has taken to help me learn to manage the condition . The help and explanation s that he gives no matter how silly l feel my questions are always makes me feel better. My biggest fear is that there is no cure for Parkinson’s, but again Mr J Mairvo has shown me ways to help through advice and guidance to live a content and happy life god willing.
