I was admitted to Springfield Hospital to undergo Parathyroid surgery by Mr Simon Smith. Dr Hywel Jones was my anaesthetist. Undergoing surgery is quite scary. Dr Jones was amazing, he talked me through the process and put me at total ease. He was making me laugh as he injected me with his 'special Gin and Tonic' and before I knew it I was awake and the surgery was over.
Dr Jones and his team are amazing. Thank you so much for looking after me and being so kind and caring.
