Key strengths: Ability to listen and connect with me as the patient - adapting his style and humour effortlessly to ensure that I feel comfortable and confident in his care. Seems to apply a very straightforward and pragmatic in approach to treatment - which has worked well for me so far, progressively adapting my medication to home in on a solution which puts me into remission (not there yet but confident that will make it).
Only negative which I do believe is outside of this doctor's direct control is appointments at Kingston hospital Rheumatology outpatients - my 3 months follow up was postponed by 7 months, and only after I took extraordinary follow up measures did it get brought forward slightly so that I had 5 1/2 months between appointments. I recognise that I was not an urgent case but this was not acceptable.
