Dr Maksoud was reccomended to me by my pain consultant Dr Hodgkinson, my blood tests were showing thyroid problems, my GP said my blood tests were normal in spite of Dr Hodgkinson keep insisting to them that they weren't. I first saw him with my husband, he asked for my medical history of the last ten years, he then proceeded to go through all my results with a fine tooth comb explaining to me as he went along. I was a clinic support at the hospital and took bloods and blood results myself so I did understand most of it. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. I had been in the most terrible place depression to the point of not wanting to wake up, my blood pressure was so low, I had no reflexes in my legs and badly needed vitamin D and oestrogen. I had a private prescription as I didn't want to wait for weeks for my GP to action the letter from him. I would highly reccomend this doctor he is fantastic, he is also interested in your life and has a good sense of humour and just making you feel at home and safe. I have decided to carry on seeing him I'm six monthly now. If you have any doubts about your health and you present with symptoms that your GP just can't be bothered to sort out, go and see Dr Maksoud, you will not regret it I didn't, he is a true professional and really cares about your well being.
