After months of being told I was a hypochondriac and that it was just stress, I found Dr Maksoud. He came very highly recommended from my osteopath who suspected I was suffering thyroid issues, Dr Maksoud also having treated his family members with great success. The first thing Dr Maksoud did was smile, shake my hand, pause and say "Come on my dear, let's get you well". He looked over my blood tests and reassured me that there was nothing sinister going on, but looking at other results he said "you must be feeling so poorly". I burst into tears because I was believed. He explained how I had the autoimmune condition Hashimotos Thyroiditis and that the very high thyroid antibody readings did matter. I had very low vitamin D levels and later tests for EBV showed extremely high readings. I have been seeing Dr Maksoud for 4 years now and he has changed my life. He always updates my plan to ensure good health and it's wonderful that I can talk to someone who listens and I can trust. His knowledge knows no bounds and he is one of the most personable people I have ever met. We always have a laugh too about just stuff and he remembers everything about you. By far meeting Dr Maksoud has been the best thing that ever happened to me!
