Dr Helen is a great doctor, by far the best at the practice. She always has time for patients, and offers a sympathetic ear to any problems people feel they have. Due to a long term spinal injury I have seen Dr Helen for many years now, she is always cheerful and approachable, and most importantly will do her utmost to find suitable treatment as well as informing you of any side effects of treatment, making sure you are aware of things that can result. By far the best asset the practice has, and an excellent advertisment for the NHS, despite what is little better than the deliberate destruction of the NHS by the present government.

In October 27th 2013 a septoplasty was performed on me, not only did this procedure fail it made the condition 50 percent worse and we all know that it should have been a priority to get me back in and rectify the situation. Instead of which thanks to Mr Cameron's austerity measures and other Nhs/Govermental politics Dr Williams/Mcgettigan has faced a two year battle to get this matter resolved. Throughout all this i feel that if it wasn't for Dr Williams/Mcgettigan standing my corner the powers that be would have been more than happy to leave me floundering. I believe that in general Nhs staff do their best under difficult circumstances and the only improvement needed across the Nhs is sufficient funding from central Government.

Very extensive checks and blood tests to try and find out the cause of my son's tiredness. Incredibly understanding and compassionate about my concerns and appointments and screening were arranged quickly and efficiently.

Dr Williams (formerly McGettigan) has always shown me great care and concern with both new medical issues and ongoing ones. I have had to be sent for many blood tests, X-rays and other tests, which Dr Williams has recommended to be sure of a diagnosis. I have always felt that I was being listened to even when I had numerous ailments that had me visiting the surgery frequently. This was uncomfortable for me as I felt that I was continually there for one reason or another, but Dr Williams has always assured me that these appointments are necessary and that monitoring the situation was important. I would recommend her to new patients.
