Dr Helen Hatcher is a professional, kind & empathetic doctor who.I totally trust and who I have been very lucky to under the care of. She is understanding and perceptive and will take the time to carefully listen to me. I have never felt her care to be anything but exceptional. Helen is proactive, efficient and thorough. When I mention an issue to her, however, minor or trivial I think it is, she will always take it seriously and give me advice or refer me to the relevant clinic or services. Throughout my treatment and in the years subsequent, Helen's dedication and care to my best interests and physical and emotional welfare have never ceased. I totally trust Helen and respect her medical opinions and her advice. She is always honest and realistic. She really cares about her patients and giving them the best possible care. She enables me to feel much more in control of my own health and managing my symptoms. After my appointments with Helen, I always feel much more reassured. I am so very grateful to Helen for making a difficult time much more bearable and feel more in my control. She really cares about you as the whole person and not just the patient. She is encouraging and will always do whatever she can to help you. I feel very lucky to have been looked after by Helen and the TYA/Sarcoma team.
