I am always scared when I go to hospital but Dr Hatcher always makes me feel more relaxed so I can listen to what is happening. She explains everything so I can understand and will take time when I am not sure what is happening. She has looked after me for a few years now so I feel a bit better going to the hospital these days.

I was very scared when I found out I had such a rare type of cancer but Dr Hatcher gave me confidence that she understood what this was and helped me understand the plans and options. I knew it would be a difficult type of cancer to treat but she has always been there helping me at every stage. I feel grateful I have finished treatment and she still watches over me and monitors the after effects of all the treatment.

I consider myself very fortunate to have had Dr Hatcher as my Consultant over several years. She is polite courteous calm and caring and always listens to any concerns I have had and most importantly always comes up with an explanation or a plan of action that needs to be taken to put something right. She is meticulous at putting plans and details of our meetings onto my chart and I know she is a phone call away if I need help which is very reassuring. I cannot praise her enough.
