I have been treated by Hannelie for around 10 years now. I agree with the other review that since COVID-19, she has taken on so many new patients, the quality of the care I have received has diminished considerably. This isn't entirely Hannelie's fault, there is a severe lack of psychiatrists and a huge surge in mental health cases. It's a perfect storm and I think Hannelie is just trying to help as many people out as possible As the other post mentions, her consultations are often late and are condensed to 10-15 mins which is a quick medication review rather than a full assessment of my health. Again, probably not her fault, she is trying to see urgent cases. One issue which is infuriating....she has a huge turnover of secretarial staff at the Nightingale Hospital which has lead to very frustrating issues with appointments, lack of notes being sent out and simple things like DVLA forms and GP letters not being completed. Emails don't go answered because the old PA has left. This has been the most frustrating issue, rather than the lack of care. However, there is a lovely lady on the reception at her London practice in Marylebone. whom has been there since I have been going there and she will try her best to help you As I have been under her care for so long, she knows me well and I won't change to another practitioner. But if you are looking for someone as a new patient, I would look elsewhere. I think it's also fair to say that Hannelie might possibly be coming to the latter stages of her career and so if you would like to have someone who will give you care for many years, this is not the person you need. I was lucky as I have had over 10 years continuous care.
