I was under Dr Cornish for a few months whilst he worked in the Crisis Team in Epsom.
His warmth, empathy and kind manner made it easy to share/confide in him. He treated me with dignity and the greatest of respect.
Whilst he was only providing 'crisis care' he took the time to listen to my 'story' and understand the broader context of my psychological issues. He was interested in the big picture – the aspects of my identity and history that had contributed to my mental health. Apart from being competent and professional he was genuinely caring and kind. He helped me immensely through a very difficult time. I cannot thank him enough.
