I contacted St. Andrews after not being helped by the secondary mental health service. I explained to the Co-Ordinator that I was desperatefor some help, I was seen by Dr D'Souza within 3 working days. She listened to me and reassured me that I would get better. I had been suffering with severe depression for 4 months. she said I could get in touch if things got worse, after feeling slightly better for a couple of weeks, i felt myself slipping backwards, so I rang her office. Dr D'Souza rang me back within 30 minutes, we spoke and she adjusted my medication. Having waited and waited for call backs from the NHS mental health team and never getting anywhere, I was so grateful for her quick response. After that medication adjustment I was feeling a lot better after 3 weeks and after 5 weeks felt much improved, in so much as I could carry on life how I wanted to (within lockdown restrictions). I wouldn't hesitate to recommed Dr D'Souza.
